Huhn, Margaret Ann (Marriage - 29 Aug. 1953)

Margaret Ann Huhn, Milan, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ferdinand Huhn, Milan, and Lavern H. Holbach, Athens, repeated vows during nuptial rites held Saturday afternoon in the Bethlehem Lutheran church, Milan. The Rev. Harold Malotky officiated at the services.

When the bride approached the altar on the arm of her father, she was attired in a white formal with lace-over-satin bodice, styled with a sheer yoke which created an off-the-shoulder effect. The satin skirt extended into a long train and her veil was held by a headpiece of pearls, and rhinestones. Red roses and white mums formed her cascade bouquet.

The bride’s sister, Miss Joyce Huhn, served as maid of honor and wore a floor length pink nylon net over satin gown with strapless bodice, topped by a bolero. Miss Patricia Krueger, Curtiss, bridesmaid, wore a blue formal and carried a bouquet of white mums and yellow carnations.

The flower girl, Miss Beverly Bahr, Athens, wore a white nylon net over taffeta frock, designed with a floor length gathered skirt and ruffled neck line, accented by a headpiece and bouquet of gold mums.

Attending the groom were Frederick Krueger, Curtiss, as best man, and Frank Beran, Athens, as groomsman.

A reception was held at the home of the bride’s parents and supper was served in the church basement, followed by a dance at Rib River ballroom.

The young couple will live at Curtiss.
